We shall see but if we can play like we did tonight like our chances against Louisville. You never know what Pitino will do but you can bet he isn't getting much sleep trying to come up with a game plan that will stop our offense.

Freshmen weren't allowed to play varsity during Issel's era. If the 3 point line had existed in the college game during the Louie Dampier era, his name might have been on that list.
I am guessing that Monk is the only freshman on that list, which is a pretty big feat.

Cliff Hagan's 51 points against Temple was almost as much as Temple as a team scored! He accounted for 60% of our points. Wow. He must have been unconscious that night.
The rest of the team must have just said "Give it to Cliff"!
But I agree, Monk's 47 as a freshman, against a team as capable as North Carolina, puts him in a very elite place. Remarkable performance!
