Kentucky has three strong point guards going into the 2019-2020 season: Immanuel Quickley, Ashton Hagans, and Tyrese Maxey.

They are all going to play both on and off the ball, and they are all expected to have a strong season. How strong their season is may be the biggest factor in where Kentucky stands with the top point guard in the 2020 class, Daishen Nix.

Nix is the No. 15 overall player in the 2020 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. His stock has risen steadily over the last year, and he continues to impress coaches across the country. While Nix has not officially announced a final list, he did tell Aaron Torres of KSR that he has narrowed down the schools he will take official visits to.

“I plan on visiting the four schools that were here tonight [UCLA, Alabama, Washington and Maryland],” Nix said Thursday at the Pangos Elite 80 event in Los Angeles. “Plus, Kentucky and maybe Kansas.”
