Vaughn has the credentials to be a special player.
Nashville running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn released a list of top schools Sunday that included Kentucky.
The 5-foot-11 prospect from the class of 2015 also mentioned Louisville, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Purdue and Arkansas State. He visited Vanderbilt over the weekend, and there was some speculation that he would commit to the Commodores during that trip. Instead, he left campus still uncommitted and later released his top six.
Vaughn visited Kentucky last month.
Kentucky’s No. 1 priority at running back is Madison Southern standout Damien Harris, who is considered the nation’s top player at that position. Vaughn is one of the best (and most realistic) UK running back targets after Harris. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 22 running back in the class.
