Author Topic: Turkey Old Norm Administrator Member # 1482 posted 12-19-2018 01:19 PM                     rlt4uk used the word 'turkey' in the Word Association thread in General Chat and reminded me of something: My brother worked at a prison ministry in Vienna, Illinois two or three weeks ago. They had to eat from the same buffet as the prisoners. On Sunday, the entrée was a large steamer pan heaped up with, are you ready for it? Boiled turkey necks! They had plenty of eggs and cheese, probably government surplus, so all he ate all weekend was fried egg and cheese sandwiches! And nope. I don't feel a bit sorry for them. Many people in this old world would be glad to have it. -------------------- Pray For Our Country! When I was a boy we ate numerous possums and I think I would prefer turkey necks to possum. Norm, would you care if I shared this on Facebook and leave out you and your brother?
