Spieth had the total package the first three days. I think he might've gotten a little nervous on Sunday the way he was missing fairways and hitting some poor (by his own standards) shots into the greens. But his putter was on fire all four rounds, and that's how you win on the PGA Tour.
From all the headlines I read on Saturday night, Tiger was making a charge and in contention, ready to battle Spieth on Sunday. Oh by the way, he was 10 strokes behind Spieth!!!
I just wonder how long it will take before the media quits treating every PGA Tour event as a Tiger Woods invitational. There are so many young guns out there that are just way better than Tiger Woods, and I don't think this is gonna change. Sure, he could possibly still win a tournament every year, but his reign of domination is over and I really don't see him as ever being favored to win an event. From watching the Masters, I thought Jim Nantz was Tiger's personal spokesperson. This is one reason why I now just record golf and watch it later, so I can fast-forward thru all of the crap.
