Topic: Cats secure 2 seed in SEC tournament

The Kentucky Wildcats got some help from Bruce Pearl’s Auburn team on Saturday as the Tigers upset the Tennessee Volunteers 84-80.
After taking care of business at home, Kentucky has now finished the regular season with the second best conference record and will have the #2 seed in next week’s SEC Tournament. Kentucky can also clinch a share of regular-season SEC title if LSU loses tonight to Vanderbilt.
UK is now locked in to play at 7:00 pm EST on the SEC Network Friday evening inside of Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Kentucky will get the winner of the #7 vs #10 game which takes place Thursday evening. There is still basketball left to be played to determine who those opponents might be. By the end of the night, Kentucky will know what two teams they may see on Friday night.

That is lot better than playing the 9 pm game and having to come back and play an afternoon game on Saturday assuming they can win.

It's also a lot better for those of us who get up at 4:30 am to go to work too!
