Might be more than one held out.

It'll be interesting to see if they get an at-large bid if they don't win the SEC Tourney. I admit it would be hard for the committee to leave them out barring any admittance of guilt by LSU or any sanctions by the NCAA (of course the NCAA wouldn't act that quickly). But you never know.

I would play Smart because there is nothing to lose at this point. If he is ruled ineligible they forfeit everything anyway, so you might as well play him.

I wouldn’t play him in the SEC Tourney because then if they win without him and get the auto bid they are in March Madness, but I would play him in the final regular season game.

It has already been announced he is not playing. I'm just saying I don't understand why he wouldn't play in the regular season finale.

I understand not playing him in the SEC Tournament, but don't understand why they wouldn't play him now. I mean this information has been out there since early December that Wade and Smart were part of the investigation. It just doesn't make any sense to me to play him for 17 SEC games, but not the 18th when this cloud has been there for the entire SEC Regular season.

Wouldn't you think LSU would not play Smart the rest of the season including tournaments instead of just one game? That doesn't make sense. No way they're going to come to the conclusion during the tournaments. This might not be resolved for 6 months.

blue hoot,

I'm saying they should play him today and then NOT in the SEC Tournament.

What does it matter if he plays today? They played him that other 17 games and his name has been mentioned since December. Just because a new report with the whole conversation came out? I would play him today.

I see your point Trey but you would think LSU would suspend Smart indefinitely instead of just picking a game or an array of tournaments games. If He's playing next week in Nashville, that will look pathetic especially if things are still in the same situation as today. :-)

LSU fans are idiots, yelling and chanting profanities at the AD during then game, while also holding up signs reading "Free Will Wade" and "Free Javonte Smart." Are there no media outlets in Baton Rouge? Do they not know that Wade is on taping discussing offers to a player! What the heck are the fans thinking???

"They are becoming the UNC of the sec"

The only difference is LSU won't get by with it!
