An OK hire, I guess. If Barnes couldn't win at Texas, I'm not sure he will recruit well enough at Tennessee, but we'll see.

I think it is an excellent hire, will upgrade both Tenn and the SEC IMO.

With Rick at Tennessee, I know I can go over there and watch the Cats play every year. I am glad he is coming back to the east coast, nearer to his home in North Carolina. He is a good coach who will definitely upgrade UT basketball. He does run a very clean program.

Barnes should make UT respectable. He is solid hire, but not a great hire.
He has achieved less with more talent than any coach in the country. At least he can recruit talent.
