All I know about him is what I see on the news. He is a conservative, but they have said he is not against Obamacare and also was for NSA keeping mega data on US citizens indiscriminately without a warrant. But, he is pro gun and pro life.
I couldn't begin to say who would be the best pick. He is young in Judge years, 53, and is a jogger. So he should be around awhile.

The leftist Democrats and the media were just chomping at the bit to blast whoever Trump picked. We are such a divided country right now.

If Trump had nominated God for this position, Chuck Shumer and the democrats would have found some reason to oppose him. Our political system is in a very sad state these days.

Of course the left is opposed to whomever Trump has chosen. Their media machine was ready with anti commercials as soon as the pick was announced.
95% of the media is left, left leaning, or hard left.
A growing portion of the power base for the Dem party is espousing open borders and socialism.
I do think that direction is going to further alienate the majority of the Dem party and cause a large exodus. Of how many, who knows? They may stay registered as Dem to be able to vote in their local elections, but the national elections will be an eye opener for the Dem party if they expect registered Dem's to blindly accept open borders and socialism.
I am curious as to just how many Americans are for open borders and socialism? Can't get that information through a poll. Most people don't answer polls. I know I don't.
Obama has broken form of past Presidents and has openly criticized Trump. He has even traveled to Foreign countries after Trump and tried to act like a he still in charge of policy. The Dem party has lost their collective minds. How can anyone stay in, unless you are true socialist and think you should get everything free.
Saw a video the other day where a black guy said he hates Trump becasue he is gonna take away his free money. This from a 20 year old young man in the hood.

I was ok with any of the final four but for some reason he was my favorite. At least he was until I found out the girls on his basketball team called him "coach K". That should have made him ineligible for any position.
