The noted ESPN commentator crushed the former UCLA star online Thursday night, hours after Ball made the Internet come alive with the release of the player’s first signature shoe and sandals. Vitale used Twitter to poke fun at the price of Ball’s shoe — a cool $495 — and the player’s performance against Kentucky’s De’Aaron Fox in the Bruins’ Sweet 16 loss in March.
Beyond the fact that Ball’s shoe is WAY overpriced, Vitale has a point here. Fox and Kentucky earned bragging rights in ending Ball’s college career. Ball had only 10 points on 4-for-10 shooting with 4 turnovers against the Wildcats. Fox, meanwhile, dropped 39 points on 13-for-20 shooting against UCLA.
Big-time kudos to Vitale for the creative jab at Ball. Hey, who wouldn’t want that shoe at $4.95? It’s not too late to change the price tag. Just saying, people.

I heard that you can pre-order the shoes now with a delivery date of November. No refunds. This tells me that they're trying to gather money to fund the production and distribution of these shoes.
I really think Lavar Ball has a mental issue.

I almost feel sorry for his sons, this man definitely has issues. I just don't see him getting his shoe line up and going. Apparently the major shoe makers wanted nothing to do with this family and from all we have read and heard on TV, it is easy to see why.

SCWC,
And to think his other two sons are marginal at best. I think Alford gave them all scholarships just to get Lonzo.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I've head just the opposite. That the youngest Ball boy is the better of the three! I guess we'll just have to wait and see! (Not that I really care!) LOL

Lonzo is by far the best of the three Ball brothers. I have seen footage of all of them playing in high school games, the other two are no where close to the talent level of Lonzo in my opinion.
