Good to see a Kentucky young man get the job.

When he was asked to join the University of Kentucky golf coaching staff as a volunteer assistant, Ben Fuqua knew it was a move he had to make.

He was the head coach at Asbury University and Lexington Catholic High School in 2013-1. At Asbury, Fuqua helped direct Steven Brooks to the 2013 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference individual championship.

Fuqua played at Kentucky for coach Brian Craig from 2005-2009, was a member of the 2005 Southeastern Conference championship team and was team captain his last two years.
