There are only two SEC teams at this point in the season that have won more season games than we have, they are Georgia and Alabama at 8-0. Our record of 6-2 is tied with 4 other SEC teams with a 6-2 over-all record.

Looking at the records you would think we will beat both Vandy and Ole Miss. They both suck up the bottom spot in each division. Vandy with an 0-5 record and Ole Miss with a 1-4 record. We should finish no worse than 8-4, and with a little luck 9-3.

Bama, we do have a shot at 9-3 like you say especially if we get a break or two.

That stat just shows how weak the SEC is outside of Bama and UGA.

When you play with fire you sometimes get burned. And now we are headed for a 6-6 record and a date with the music city bowl.

Same old story, a defensive minded coach has the absolute worst defense in the sec. Same old kentucky. I'm sick of losing. Unbelievable the frustration that I'm feeling.stoops is not head coach material, I don't care what anyone thinks. He's in over his head. The talent is there, it's coaching. Imo.

It truly is a quandary. He is the best recruiter that UK has had, but he is near the bottom as a Head Coach since I've been watching the Cats on the gridiron in the late 1970's.

I've been consistent since day 1 that I didn't like the hire, but I do give him props for bringing talent in. I actually don't think the "Stoops" family is quite the coaches that everyone thinks. Bob won at Oklahoma simply because of talent, but his teams were always undisciplined and gave up big plays to the better teams. That is why despite all of that talent they only won one title.

The last UK football coach that had a winning record for total games (53%) was Blanton Collier who coached the Cats from 1962-1968.
