For me anyway. I went to orientation for event workers today and had a nice cookout type meal, burger, hotdog, chips, etc. Got 2 more black UK shirts and a new blue cap. I have 4 black shirts and a blue one now. Great shirts, they stay dry even on the hotest of days.

The best part of the day was getting my assignment for this year. I had told them I wanted a job that was inside the bowl this year and I needed a fe more hours than the 4 hours I got last year. I am now working on the upper concourse of sections 22 and 23 which is on the high rise side of the field. Someone told me I would have to deal with all the drunks over there. The best part is I have to be there 3 hours before the game starts and I don't leave until 30 minutes after the end of the game. Looks like I will get a minimum of 6 1/2 hours each game.
We got an email yesterday telling us to not go up the ramps into the bowl or even look up there because they were having a closed practice today. Must be running some very secret plays? Ha!

Hoping the NM St game on 17 Sep is a noon game. I have to leave from the game to drive to Elizabethtown to be there for my state Vietnam Veterans state meeting 9:00am Sunday morning. A 4:00 or 7:00pm game would put me into E'town very late.

Everyone is on a high right now with an unknown new season upon us. We shall see by about 10 Sep just how good we are when we go to Florida.
