With the loss, Kentucky is 5-7 and with the win, Louisville improves to 7-5.

The all-time series is tied 14-14, with UofL leading 9-8 in games played in Lexington.

Louisville has won five consecutive meetings in the series.

Kentucky honored 19 seniors as game captains on Saturday, including Daron and Zack Blaylock, Glenn Faulkner, Ryan Flannigan, Josh Forrest, Landon Foster, Khalid Henderson, Joey Herrick, Farrington Huguenin, Cory Johnson, Jabari Johnson, Melvin Lewis, Kelly Mason, Cody Quinn, A.J. Stamps, Max Strong, Jordan Swindle, Fred Tiller and Zach West.

Kentucky’s 21 points in the first quarter equals the most in school history and the most since 2005 vs. Vanderbilt.

UK also scored 21 points in the first quarter vs. Louisville in 1997.
