How about Kentucky coach John Calipari hyping the football team during his appearance at the Jefferson County Alumni Club luncheon in Louisville Wednesday?

"How about what Mark (Stoops) is doing with the football program? Raise your hand if you've been in our new football stadium. Is it nuts or what?" Calipari said. "I went in and what an unbelievable job they've done.

"How many of you have been on campus lately? Do yourself a favor and go on campus. You will be stunned that it's been transformed). Our students are getting spoiled. This is ridiculous.

"The housing – everybody talks about the lodge, the Coal Lodge (for Kentucky basketball players) – but the student housing is nicer than our housing. I'm serious. But it's good because I want my stuff updated now."
