They are a good team with a 6-2 record and we will have our work cut out for us playing them in front of all their fans.

Kentucky coach Mark Stoops sees Missouri as a team with talent that plays well — and also has bad games like most teams in the country.

That’s how he explains Missouri losing at home to Indiana and being blown out by Georgia even though star running back Todd Gurley was suspended but yet winning on the road at South Carolina and Florida.

“Obviously didn’t play their best and had some subtle things in that (Georgia) game that maybe you don’t notice when you’re just watching on TV. When you watch film, a play here or a play there and it’s certainly closer than it was,” said Stoops on the Southeastern Conference teleconference. “So that’s one game. The Indiana game could’ve gone either way.

“And they’ve won six games — they’re 6-2 this year — and they won a boatload of games a year ago. So I just see a very good football team. Just like all of us, people are critical of one game, but that certainly does not define them. They’re a well-coached, good football team.”
