If coach Stoops is confident it helps but like G-B points out in another thread you never know.

With the opening game almost here, Kentucky coach Mark Stoops certainly has reason to be excited but he also probably has a lot of reasons to worry.

So what keeps a head coach from sleeping before the first game? What could make him lie awake at night worrying?

“Just everything, I’d say. I feel good about things. I feel like we really covered most all the scenarios you can get to,” Stoops said. “You never say you can’t get anything that can come up on you, but we feel very well prepared.

“Players have worked hard, coaches have worked hard. I feel good about it. I feel good about where we’re at. Just anxious to get started.”
