What are the chances of getting a eye injury by getting hit with a tennis ball?

Kentucky’s bad luck with keeping receivers healthy continues as Jeff Badet, who was coming back from a broken ankle, injured his eye when he was hit by a tennis ball during a drill.

Last year Javess Blue was injured when he was hit in the eye with a football during pregame warumps and Alex Montgomery tore his ACL jumping to celebrate a touchdown play.

“We’ve got another injury with Badet. He’s got a little eye accident. So, you know, we’ve been through that before, haven’t we? Last year before a game Javess (Blue) took one in the eye. So this year, Jeff was working in a drill, catching some tennis balls because he couldn’t go at full strength with his leg and he caught a tennis ball in the eye. So we’ll see how serious that is in the next — well really we won’t know for about a week on that,” said head coach Mark Stoops Saturday. “He was coming back with that ankle, the leg, about 70 percent or whatnot. He was working in there, doing some good things.
