My wife and I just bought tickets to the UK-UL Monroe game. This will be our first time in Lexington, any suggestions on where to stay and eat while where there. Where going to be there 3 days.

Sorry Bud. I am not all that familiar with Lexington. We've been there several times, because one of our daughters used to live there, but when we went up to see them, we either stayed with them or came home that night. Have been to several basketball games at Rupp, but never stayed overnight.

rlt, One of the old standbys in Lexington is Joe Bologna's. Pizza is there specialty and it's real good. The address is 120 West Maxwell which is downtown.

There are reasonably priced, clean lodging right off the interstate of I-75 on exit 113. Malone's or Sal's on Tates Creek rd is the best bet for dinner. Willie's locally known on Broadway has great food at a great price and live music.
