The Kentucky basketball program has been making moves on and off the court over the past several months.

Spear-headed by assistant coaches Joel Justus and newcomer Jai Lucas, the Cats have positioned themselves to further dominate the recruiting trail from coast to coast. The las few weeks produced several high level commitments for UK but this staff is just getting started from a long-term perspective.

During Friday’s Big Blue Madness you heard Calipari passionately advocate for prolonged remote recruiting.

Now that the shade is assembled and had the chance the acclimate to the new environment it’s all systems go and Kentucky fans could be in store for some celebration as too prospects begin making their decisions this winter heading into spring.

As the class of 2021 is beginning to take shape — the class of 2022 is just getting started.

Currently, Skyy Clark remains UK’a only commit in the class of 2022. Despite rumors of reclassifying, Clark continues to be vocal in encouraging other 2022 prospects to join him in Lexington.

Clearly, the idea of playing with a five-star guard like Skyy Clark is appealing, because other players are floating out the idea of putting together a monster class.

Tre White, a four-star small forward from Los Angles, was recently interviewed by Zach Shumaker and gave a candid opinion on what it would look like if he came to UK with some other elite prospects.
