Now why would Cal be interested in a transfer PG. He was a 3 star coming out of high school. Hmmmmmm??? Read below and you may understand this. Don't forget to read between the lines.

"""Originally a 3-star prospect and a top-250 player nationally in the 2017 class, Hardy chose UNLV over Arkansas, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State.

Hardy's father, Ramsey, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that a major selling point for his son is the opportunity to play point guard at his new school. UK head coach John Calipari, who has shown a penchant for playing multiple point guards together, is expected to lose Tyrese Maxey and Ashton Hagans to the NBA Draft, and possibly SEC Player of the Year Immanuel Quickley.

Kentucky, whose top-ranked 2020 recruiting class features top-10 guards Terrence Clarke and BJ Boston, has only signed one primary ball handler in 5-star Devin Askew.

What makes Hardy even more intriguing is that he's the older brother of top-ranked 2021 combo guard and 2020 Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year Jaden Hardy, who attends Coronado High School in Henderson and holds an early scholarship offer from the Wildcats. In fact, Kentucky currently represents all four of the predictions on Hardy's 247Sports Crystal Ball.""" [Wink]
