Recently, Anthony updated his top 12 schools. Kentucky did make the cut along with the usual suspects, but this time around, Kentucky got cut along with Duke.

Anthony has always been considered one of the top players in the class of 2019. Currently in the 247 Sports rankings, Anthony is listed as the #3 overall player and #1 combo guard in his class. His dominance this summer has been impressive and gives real credibility to him finishing the season as the VERY best high school player in America.

Anthony is former NBA star Greg Anthony’s son and has been around the highest level of basketball for his entire life, which clearly seems to be helping him see tremendous success early on his career.

In an interview Zach Braziller of the New York Post, Greg Anthony said that Cole will “wait until the last minute possible” before deciding on a school. The logic being that the family wants to be as sure as they can about the coaching situation at a particular program.

Not surprising since we have three guards/wings already. Never really thought we had a chance with him. We need a big guy which is getting harder to get.
