Just got home after a 3 week vacation in Hawaii----that was the last state i needed to be in all fifty states-----have also been in about 30 countries---but KY--is and always will be home

Millie and I went to Hawaii a few years ago. We went with my youngest brother and his wife and a retired army colonel friend and his wife. Being retired military, we stayed in a cabin on a military recreation area, right on a beach on Oahu. The cabin was fully furnished, including kitchen, and had three bedrooms. I don't remember the cost, but it was very reasonable. It was a fun time, but I've seen it now and probably won't go again.
