I just had one this morning. I have to admit it was scary. I'm going to have bypass surgery in March on my femoral artery and the dr wanted to make sure my heart could handle it.
I didn't know what to expect, I wish I would have asked you guys what to expect.

I had one enough years ago that I don't remember it. My wife, on the other hand, had one not too long ago, and thought she was going to die. She says she will never have another one.

rlt4uk,
Where do you plan to have your surgery? Modern technology is wonderful. I had open heart valve surgery with no complications at UAB.

Good luck to you, rlt. Any surgery is scary, but like clyde said modern medicine has come a long way.

I had one about a year ago. It was, as intended, stressful. But better to go through that and discover any issues than to have those issues disrupt your surgery!

Good luck with your procedure. Keep us posted here.

I'm feeling fine considering my wife and I tested positive for covid this past Saturday. Monday I couldn't hardly breathe and had chills and body aches. My work partner came to work sick last Monday and said it was sinuses, now seven guys out of thirteen on my shift are positive.
