I don't agree with the decision to give County House the win. What do you guys think?

It was a hard call in one of the most-watched sporting events in the country but I think they got the call right. Max Security definitely pushed 3 to 4 paths out in the turn forcing 4 to 5 horses to go with him and impeding the progress of several horses, a foul in the racing business. It may not have been a popular call but I think they got it right.

I didn't even know they're were rules in horse racing, other than not letting jockeys hit each other. [Smile]

I too think they called it right under the circumstances although i don't think he was the best horse in the race.

I'm not happy with the call. The horse that crossed the finish line first isn't the winner? SO the horse they gave the win to wasn't even effected by the swerve of the horse? How do we know that the horse wasn't losing his footing when he started to swerve.

Why do they not make this same call in the first quarter mile of the race? How many horses get cut off in the first quarter mile!

It was awful. The one that claimed the foul didnt get impeded at all. He had the most to gain and they gave him the race. Horses bump into each other all the time, especially in a field of twenty horses.

It should be recorded in the history books with an asterisk,,,,,saying that the real winner was cheated.

It was a black eye for the sport of horse racing and a bad for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The spotlight shines very bright on them once a year and they can't get it right.
