Was that a terrible missed call in the Saints game? Sure it was. However.....

With under two minutes in the game, the Saints could've run the ball three straight times forcing the Rams to use their last two timeouts. And if they happened to gain a first down - game over. Otherwise, kick the go-ahead field goal leaving the Rams with less than a minute to play. But no. They threw two incomplete passes before kicking the field goal, leaving the Rams with 1:41 left on the clock. That was plenty of time to drive and tie the game with a field goal.

In my opinion, the Saints screwed themselves. Leave the refs out of it.

One of the two incomplete passes was an interference/targeting penalty at the very least. Don't get me wrong, they beat my Steelers about a month ago on a couple of bogus PI calls, but the missed call yesterday could've been seen by Ronnie Milsap!
