John Calipari and his revamped coaching staff have been boots on the ground all over the United States scouting talent and looking for the next generation of Wildcats, particularly the Class of 2022.

Two 5-star players have emerged as serious targets for Kentucky — Cason Wallace and Adem Bona — are reportedly visiting Lexington in the coming weeks.

Cason Wallace is widely considered to be one of the best overall guards in the Class of 2022.

After his recent dominant performance at the Nike Peach Jam, he’s positioned himself to soar up the player rankings heading into the fall.

Currently, 247 Sports ranks the Richardson (TX) native as the 18th-best player in the class, but expect that to change before it’s all said and done.

Wallace looked like a top-10 prospect while averaging over 15 points per game and shooting 37% from deep at the Peach Jam. By all indications, he’s simply a winner that does what his team needs him to do.
