Wheeler recently cut his list to four, and it features Kentucky, Kansas, LSU, and Oklahoma State. He is one of the best facilitators in the nation.

For Georgia last season Wheeler averaged 14 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.8 rebounds.

It’s obvious as to why John Calipari is showing strong interest in Wheeler. He is a player that gets consistent paint touches, and obviously is very good at finding the open man once he breaks down the defense.

The shooting and turnover numbers will scare a lot of fans away, but the fit with Kentucky is one that keeps getting stronger by the day. If you add him in a back court that features Kellan Grady, CJ Fredrick, and potentially TyTy Washington, not only does that surround him with shooters but also will allow him to share some on-ball duties so he can create in different ways.

Cal isn't that fond of 'facilitators', but with a roster being bloated with scorers, I think this guy would be dynamite.

We couldn't seem to do very much facilitating last year. Allen is a perfect example of that. They seldom threw it to him and when they did it was late and he was covered. Again it looks like we could have an overabundance of good players that Cal will have to figure out how to get them to play together and how to give PT to all of them.
