So THAT’S why TyTy Washington couldn’t sleep last night. According to Paul Biancardi, the five-star point guard will announce his college decision TONIGHT at 9 p.m. ET on SportsCenter. Last week, Washington tweeted that he would announce on May 12 (today) before switching to Saturday, May 15. He’s down to Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, and LSU.

Kentucky has all of the momentum for Washington right now, accounting for 90% of the predictions in his Crystal Ball, including three “locks.” The five-star point guard’s stock has been on the rise since his decommitment from Creighton on March 11 due to strong performances throughout the spring, most notably at the GEICO Nationals in April. He’s ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation and No. 2 overall at his position by ESPN.

Jack Pilgrim and Zack Geoghegan watched Washington in action this past weekend at the Iverson Classic at Memphis, where he showed off not only his skills as a distributor, but a scorer. Washington won the three-point contest on Friday night and had four threes in the game on Saturday en route to 22 points.
