Between the Iverson Classic, the Kentucky Derby fiasco, and trying to keep up with football and basketball recruiting, it was quite a weekend for sports fans in Kentucky. Things continue to look bright for the future across the board, especially for one particular basketball commit.

Skyy Clark played in the KC Classic this weekend, an event primarily for Nike teams. He did not disappoint, as 247 Sports reports that he stood out in a gym filled with top talent.

“The five-star Kentucky commit was outstanding as a playmaker and facilitator all weekend long all-the-while giving you some impressive scoring moments to remind you that he is more than capable of getting a bucket,” 247 Sports’ Travis Branham wrote. “Clark has built a long-standing reputation as a creative, skilled and crafty bucket getter but he possesses tremendous passing ability, vision and feel as well. Coupled with Clark’s ability to score and creatively get in the paint, he makes for a dynamic playmaker and facilitator as he draws attention from the defense and creates open opportunities for his teammates.”
