Just hours after Oklahoma Sooners guard De’Vion Harmon entered the transfer portal, Adam Zagoria reported the Kentucky Wildcats were among several programs to reach out.

Harmon told ZAGSBLOG he’s heard from Kentucky, Indiana, Oregon, Texas and Gonzaga and is expecting to have Zooms with Oklahoma, Texas and Oregon and a call with Kentucky’s John Calipari.

Seeing schools like Texas, Oregon and Gonzaga reach out this soon shows Harmon is already becoming one of the top transfers to hit the portal since the offseason began. And for John Calipari to directly reach out, you have to think Kentucky has serious interest in the 6-2, 198-pound guard out of Denton (TX).

A four-star recruit in the 2019 recruiting class, Harmon was a full-time starter this past season while averaging 12.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He started 22 of his 31 games as a freshman the previous year while averaging 7.4 points, 2.0 assists and 2.1 boards per contest. He’s a career 33.7% three-point shooter, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Yeah, I am "into" that kind of thing.

Less than 34 as a shooter for 3's - not very impressive at all.

Someone remind me, what year did they move the 3 pt shot further back? Haven't they moved it a few times in the last 6 or so years?

Note, none of the top 50 3 point shooting teams comes from the SEC! Florida was the best 3 point shooting team for the season with a 35.58% good for
87th place.

Expected. Most SEC schools go for the athletic type players just like UK. Hope we can change that next year.

I can not believe that all SEC coachs including UK can't see that to win championships you have to a mixture of players that can score on offense as well as play good defense. That is mind boggling.

Well, I haven't looked at their stats since the season was over, but it seemed like Bama was hitting at least 10 three's a game during the regular season. Problem with that is, when you count solely on the three and have an off shooting night during the tourney, YOU'RE DONE!

Plus, they ran into the buzzkill that was UCLA. UCLA just got hot.
