It looks like it is going to happen. While the schedule and procedures are uncertain, we will get some form of college basketball this fall.

The Kentucky Wildcats have some major weapons on the roster, almost all of which are new to Lexington. And according to ESPN, three of those newcomers are among the top 25 in the country.

Jeff Borzello of ESPN ranked the top 80 college basketball players that are new to their teams, whether by transfer or simply being a freshmen. Kentucky had three players that made the list, and they are all toward the top.

5. B.J. Boston - “With all the personnel losses for the Wildcats from last season, John Calipari will need someone to emerge as the go-to-guy offensively; my money is on Boston,” Borzello wrote about Kentucky’s freshman wing.

13. Terrence Clarke - “Clarke will impact the game in a variety of ways, and Calipari will find interesting ways to utilize him. Great physical tools and makes plays at both ends.”

23. Devin Askew - “Askew might not be as athletically explosive as some previous Calipari point guards, but he’s tough and never seems out of sync. Can score at all three levels.”
