Last month, the African-American and Africana Studies program at the University of Kentucky sent a letter to university President Eli Capilouto proposing changes to ensure racial equality. Among the 10 proposed actions, which can be read here, was the renaming of Kentucky's home venue since 1976 named after legendary coach Adolph Rupp.

“The Adolph Rupp name has come to stand for racism and exclusion in UK athletics and alienates Black students, fans, and attendees,” the faculty wrote. “The rebuilding of the arena and the convention center offer an opportunity to change the name to a far more inclusive one, such as Wildcat Arena. In addition, the University should survey all campus buildings and remove all names of enslavers, Confederate sympathizers (such as William C.P. Breckinridge), and other white supremacists.”

On Wednesday, in his first interview with local media in over a month, current Kentucky head coach John Calipari said he would be willing to listen to a name change.

This is demonstrably false, but facts no longer matter. It is sad, however, to see his good name smeared over and over again with false allegations.

Rupp Arena will be renamed. Statues will be removed. History will be altered. Ignorance will prevail.

I wonder if any of those proposals included the "racial equality" of the basketball roster?

I'm getting sooo damn tired of this crap!

We are currently unable to sign any of the top white big men because of these lies. They all end up at Duke, Kansas or Gonzaga. BLM is not what the majority of us think it is.
