Pat Forde picks Florida: The Wildcats had been on a roll, then completely collapsed and blew a 17-point lead at home against Tennessee. Some fissures showed in that game, with point guard Ashton Hagans at odds with John Calipari. Florida is almost certainly in the tourney, but I’d they want to remove the “almost” from the equation this win would do it.

2.5 points now. I wouldn't bet two cents on this game either way. There's just no telling how the Cats will play today. They might lose by 20 or win by 10. It's the most inconsistent team I remember UK having, but I've only followed them since 1977.

These are the kind of games this team wins. I thought we had no chance at Texas Tech, but went down there and beat them. I watched a few Tech games since then and they looked awesome. I don't know how we beat them down there.

If i had to bet this game straight up, i'd have to take UF. But i won't be a bit surprised if we win this one.

I've been there, CMD. I still remember when we beat UCLA in the NCAA tournament when they had Lonzo Ball. I was so pumped after the game that i opened my Calipari bottle of Maker's Mark and poured me a glass. [Smile]

Not like I did. I gave up a couple of times. I didn't have much hopes for a good seed in the NCAA either. I hope I'm not the only one who can see when the decide to start playing. Somewhere about 7 or 8 minutes to go they looked like a different team. First they got 3's from Brooks, Sestina and Maxey. Then they started to take it to the paint and pounded it in for a basket or a foul. I hope they can go back home and get Hagans head on straight and get a decent shooting eye before next Friday. One thing we can say is a couple of guys got some valuable playing time today. Juzang and Brooks showed just what they can do when given a chance. I hope Cal will now use them more in the SEC Tourney.
