Michigan State # 1 UK #2. First game of the year should be a dandy.

I “heard” Michigan St got beat badly in a closed scrimmage by Gonzaga who comes in at #8. No way to verify this that I know of. I’m not close enough to either Izzo or Few to call and ask. Cal says he has no idea if this is true.

Michigan State basketball loses Joshua Langford indefinitely to injury.

Joshua Langford will be out indefinitely with recurring foot and ankle problems, Izzo said Tuesday. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard will be re-evaluated in January.
