The Kentucky Wildcats are getting a brief summer break before school starts back up later this month.

In the meantime, freshman forward Kahlil Whitney is participating in the 2019 Nike Skills Academy in California, where some of the top high school recruits are competing alongside a select group of college players.

Turns out, Whitney has been one of the most impressive college players there, according to Sam Vecenie of the Athletic, as well as Whitney’s former AAU team, Mac Irvin Fire.
