Per KENPOM: Only one team has won a national title that was not ranked in the top 20 for Offensive Efficiency and Defensive Efficiency. That team was UCONN in 2014. Surprisingly UK was ranked outside of the top 20 in both of those categories that year as well.

This year the only teams ranked in the top 20 in both of those categories are:

Duke Off 3rd Def 4th

Virginia Off 5th Def 3rd

Mich St Off 6th Def 9th

UK Off 14th Def 7th

UNC Off 7th Def 19th

As always. You don't even have to guess anymore. Just write it down.

I would say that unless they get upset a couple of times between now and then they will be the overall #1 one seed. We have 6 games left and the final 3 are the tough ones being 2 of the 3 are on the road. We need to win all to secure a #2 seed. The LSU loss I think precludes us from a #1 seed, unless there are are several upsets along the way.
