I recently subscribed to Kenpom's website and it is phenomenal. Going forward I will do my best to post some numbers that I think are relevant to our big games. If you have any requests let me know. There is literally nothing that Kenpom's website doesn't cover. Here goes my first attempt at this.

UK Off Eff = 116.8 Ranked 18th Nat UT Off Eff = 124.2 2nd Nat

UK Deff Eff = 89.7 8th Nat UT Def Eff = 96.0 41st Nat

UK FG% = 52.8 91st Nat UT FG% = 56.9 7th Nat

UK 3% = 35.2 = 130th Nat UT 3% = 36.8 62nd Nat

UK Turnover % = 18.5 157th Nat UT Turnover % = 15.9 25th Nat

UK Off Reb% = 38.3 3rd Nat UT Def Reb % = 30.4 259th Nat

The big one is our Offensive rebounding Vs their inability to get defensive boards.

Offensive rebounding makes up for our lower shooting percentage, that is for sure. I worry more about turnovers. UT's guards are quick and great at playing the passing lanes. If we can protect the ball and play great defense, I like our chances. But if we get sloppy, we will be looking at two home losses in a row.

If that should happen it wouldn't help any of their chances to make it in the draft. For all of their futures I hope they can all excel tonight. Also because the only game I had them losing the rest of the way is the game at TN.
