I personally think our talent level is way down from prior Cal years. I think he is trying to make these players believe in themselves for the better good of the team but wonder if even he does not realize some of these players are just not as good as their high school credentials showed them to be. The last time Cal had transfers was the 2013 team and we know how they turned out, I just hope this group is not a repeat of 2013 all over again.

I think they are a fine group of young men who are very likable, I just hope they can up their game as the season goes on. Right now, we are not a top ten team even though we are rated number 10.

I agree, talent wise this is Cal's least talented team.

I see short shots of them doing good things but they also do some bad things. I'm hoping they are still learning how Cal wants them to play. We have had some teams in the last several years that got a slow start but when they got "IT" they played a lot better. We still have 6 games before the SEC starts. Hope we can start putting it together and become the team everyone thought we had.

I can't agree with that. The 2012-2013 team was by far the least talented team Cal has had. I think it is clearly the second most talented squad, but it is light years better than the 2012-13 roster.

Here is the thing, this team has all the pieces to be a great defensive team (length, on ball pressure, and shot blockers). They just need to learn how to actually play "defense" and the first thing to make that happen is they need to start communicating.

Despite the horrific three point shooting to date, this is a pretty good offensive team because they get to the foul line so much.

Do you really think this team is more talented than either the championship team or the 38-1 team? I don't think they're even in the same gym as those two teams.

I also wouldn't put them ahead of the Randle team or the Fox team. I wouldn't say they're much below these two, but I definitely wouldn't say they're more talented.

Think Trey might have meant to type "second most least talented".

Does anybody remember Cal's first team at UK? They needed a last second score to win against a team they should have blown out, early in the season.

The fan base didn't fret because Cal had Wall and Cousins.

This team doesn't have a John Wall or a Boogie Cousins. I do think they have a lot of talent across the board.

It's still very early in the season.
