The recruitment of Oscar Tshiebwe is entering its final stage.

Now that the five-star center has wrapped up his official visits, Tshiebwe will now sit down and discuss with his family and inner circle about where he wants to attend college.

While it’s untelling he’ll actually make a decision (or if he already has), Tshiebwe is planning to announce his decision in new week or two, according to Jake Weingarten.

Tshiebwe, a 6-9 center, is the No. 22 player and No. 8 center in the class of 2019 on the 247 Sports Composite. He’s from Hermitage, Pennsylvania, and is currently playing his high school basketball at Kennedy Catholic.

Tshiebwe just had his official visit with the West Virginia Mountaineers, the presumed favorite in this recruitment. Of his finalists, West Virginia is the closest school to where he currently lives, so that’s another plus for Bob Huggins.

However, the Kentucky Wildcats have made a strong push, and this could easily go either way heading into his decision.

Baylor and Illinois are among the other finalists, though no one is giving them a real shot in this. West Virginia has been working this recruitment for years, so it’s going to be hard for anyone to unseat them as the favorite, including Kentucky.
