We've lost two in a row and there's no reason to believe that we won't lose our next two as well (at Texas A&M and at Auburn). I wonder when Calipari last had a four-game losing streak. Hopefully we pull a stunner and win one of these next two games.

A&M beat Auburn at Auburn last night and we have to travel to their place Saturday night. We have some tough sledding the rest of the season and I am not sure we are capable of beating anyone left on the schedule at this point in the season. We can only hope. Maybe they will man up against some of the better SEC teams.

Cats will need to break the streak at home seeing as I do not think they will win any of the remaining road games.

I see Ole Miss as the only probable win for a 18-13 record with a 7-11 SEC record. Can't remember when we had a losing SEC record. We could end up playing on the first day of the SEC Tourney.

PaulCat.....Cal never had a 4 game losing streak but came close three times with 3 losses in 4 games (2017, 2014 & 2011). Last 4 game
L streak was 2009 with Billy G.

Good info, Jerseycat. I figured if Cal had a 4-game losing streak it was probably in his first year or two at UMass. Let's hope he doesn't get one this year!

PaulCat....to clarify, the stats I posted are only Cal at UK. I didn't check his UMass or Memphis records.

What sucks is I feel that our defense has been pretty darn good over the last couple weeks. We just can't score.

You can't be mad at any of them. they're just kids trying to do their best, I hope. I'm sure they would be much better if their actions were producing wins instaead of losses. I think this is just the law of chance catching up with us. The 2013 class was not good enough to make the NCAA and went on to lose the NIT in their first game. That would be 5 years and we're having problems again, but in between look what we have done. Everything but a NCAA championship. Guess we'll have to get used to losing some games once in a while.

We are 6-5 in conference play, 17-7 over-all, 13-2 at home, 3-3 away and are on a 2 game losing streak.
