I really never thought I would say this, but I'm done watching this season. I'll DVR the games and maybe I will scan through, but I just get zero enjoyment out of watching this so called team try to play.

I think I could go to the local YMCA and find players with higher basketball IQ's then this group.

I think one of the key possessions of the second half was when Richards/Green/Vanderbilt or maybe it was Gabriel battled for the ball on an uncontested rebound and lost it to the UT player who then missed the shot anyway and UK still couldn't come up with the rebound and committed a foul and UT hit two free throws to cut the lead to one. UK comes up with that and scores and they are up 5 and who knows what the result would have been.

I've seen so many bone headed plays like that from this team that I am just worn out and done. I mean I really get zero enjoyment because I just find myself waiting for the stupid plays and they come in bunches every game.

RLT4UK is joining you. He told me the same thing tonight. As painful as it is to watch this team, I’m going to be there in front of my TV every time they play. I think we’ve been spoiled with Championships and FF’s. We are looking at a very probable 4 game losing streak (aTm and AU), but I’m not jumping ship. We may end up in the NIT, but I’ll watch that too.

This is a frustrating team to watch, but we know the potential is there because of the comeback win at WVU. I’m holding out hope until the final horn on the season sounds. Go Big Blue!!!

I have not seen so many dumb players on one team in my life. They can't even grasp Basketball 101. Each game these kids play just exposes how terrible a basketball player they are. We hear the argument that the NBA drafts on potential - well I have seen zero potential from this group, including Knox.

He's 6'9" and can't shoot, rebound or defend, and get's outmuscled by every opponent. Diallo should give up basketball and join EJ Floreal on the track team. He's totally useless. PJ showed glimpses of being special about twelve games into the season, but since then he has joined witness protection - he's nowhere to be found!

I don't know what Cal is waiting to get from Diallo. I've never seen such an overrated player in my life.

Totally agree. I swear, I wonder if the players soak their hands in motor oil before going out on the floor! It's that bad. We can all just hope they get through the first weekend of the NCAA's and if they don't, we can just put this year in the trash can and move on.

I almost didn't watch tonight, because of the turmoil my mind and body go through when these boys make a mess of things. Tenn didn't play well except for the last two possessions. Unfortunately, those were two turnovers by SGA which decided the outcome. SGA had had a wonderful game up to that point, and I do not place this loss on him.
Coach had an opportunity to call time out and set up a play with 25 or do seconds to go, but let them play. Problem was that everyone stood around and waited for SGA to go one on one, but it turned out to be one on three, twice. But what was he to do? There is no structure to the offensive sets they run, and SGA was just trying to win the game. He had several assists in the game, so I know he's not selfish. Just a bad turn of luck [Frown]
I'll keep watching, but it's hard.

I am to the point where I will not arrange my scheduled around a UK game. These kids as well as Calipari have lost me for the remainder of the season.

I have grown tired of Cal's incessant "We're so young....blah, blah, blah....". We are 3 weeks removed from March. Either these kids decide to grow up or write in in for the remainder of the season.

I'll never miss a UK game unless there are life-threatening circumstances, no matter how bad they are. Look, I've been a Bengals fan since the late 70's. I think I can handle a little bit of a down year from our Cats. [Smile]

I think Cal is saying what he needs to say, however unrealistic it is. This team is what it is - a group of freshman playing like freshman. Cal says he'll take talent over experience every year. Well, he might want to rethink that.

Ever get that feeling once the game starts that we are gonna lose? I had it and no matter how excited I got I could not shake it.

Well we know how it turned out!!

When both teams never get much of a lead the whole game, UK 3 points and I think TN got up to 4 or 5 points that is poor basketball or bad shooting. I keep saying it and I'll say it again, The SEC is not agreat league. I see it as no one, except maybe Auburn is very good. Of course there are a lot of other non great leagues and teams out there too. This is just a bad year for college basketball. Look at the games Duke and UNC have lost. Tell me the ACC is a great league, outside of VA.
