As expected, the Team USA Basketball U19 team will have a heavy dose of Kentucky Wildcats players and recruits.

On thursday, the final list of 12 players for this year’s U19 squad was announced.

It includes the following:
•Hamidou Diallo
•PJ Washington
•Romeo Langford
•Cam Reddish
•Louis King
•Immanuel Quickley
•Austin Wiley
•Brandon McCoy
•Josh Okogie
•Payton Pritchard
•Carsen Edwards
•Kevin Hueter

However, the name you won’t find on this list is five-star big man Bol Bol, who was thought to be a lock for this roster. It will be interesting to see why he didn’t make it. It’s possible he had some sort of injury or just didn’t want to travel to Egypt.

Either way, it’s unfortunate that John Calipari won’t get to coach him for the next month, as Bol is easily one of the best players in the 2018 class.

The good news is Washington and Diallo made it, so Calipari will get to work with them extensively before next season begins.

Bol just didn't perform well after the first day.

I am afraid it's going to take Bol a little time to get acclimated to Kentucky basketball but when he does he is going to be a very special player.
