Sweeet revenge! We should be ready for this game and would bet Cal will have them playing hard from the opening tip till the final buzzer.

As inconsistent as our Cats have been this season, I would not be surprised if they won the championship, nor would it surprise me to lose to UCLA by 20.

If Calipari could keep players 2 years, his teams would look like well oiled machines. The NBA would have to mandate it.

I'm with Norm, nothing would surprise me with this team.

I agree Norm, just look at the 2012 team that took it all, they had two key sophmores in Terrance Jones and Dorian Lamb to go along with Davis, Teague and Gilchrist. And Darius Miller, who I considered the heart and soul of that team, was a senior who had started his Sophmore and Junior years and came off the bench to be an unstoppable sixth man for them. There is no doubt that the NCAA or NBA will never mandate that the players have to stay in college for two years, that would be like giving UK a real valid shot at the National Championship every year and we all know the NCAA will never do a thing that would help Cal or UK.

Ray I thought the 2 yr rule is something that the nba would have to approve not the ncaa and thus far the nba union won't go along with it. I could be wrong of course?

The NBA is too greedy. They aere afraid they would lose some revenue if they made some outstanding players stay for 2 years. Very simple deduction. They are willing to take guys on their potential abilities and lose money if they don't pan out. It's the same as having your cake and eating it too. [Mad]

Bama, if it was a league rule, or the owners making the rule, I could understand. But it is the player's union.

I would think that the veteran players would want to keep the new kids out so they don't get bumped off the roster. Even more so for the younger ones. I never did understand what the players stand to gain from this rule.
