For the first time since 1988 and Chris Mills, KY has their second ever triple double.

Fox finished with 14 points 11 rebounds and 10 assists!

That was indeed fantastic, but the pass/dunk by Monk/Gabriel was absolutely breathtaking. The most exciting play I have seen in a loooong time!

Chris Mills scored 19 points 10 rebounds and 10 assists against Austin Peay in 1988.

I wasn't even married the last time a KY player had a double double. Now I'm a grandfather!

Hopefully it won't be that long until the next one happens!

There has to be 1 or two weak teams in our conference this year! There always seems to be a couple of them!

Compared to the talent we have on this team there are a number of weaker teams.

I have to agree with catmandoo..... whether we have a few weak teams in the conference or weak teams in the preseason.... For the CATS to only have had 2 Triple Doubles in the entire history of Kentucky Basketball means it is a rare bird indeed... Now speaking of birds, if by haps he does get another one I would love to see it happen against the dirty birds.

Now someone is trying to say that Fox's 7 assist wasn't an assist at all! I guess we'll wait and see what the final ruling is.

He left the game with about 4 minutes left. Does anybody think Cal would have taken him out if not an assist, and do you really think he would not have achieved one more in that 4 minutes?

This assist was on a pass to Monk who got fouled and made both free throws. When I kept stats in high school the rule was if the shooter made the first free throw then an assist was given to the passer. Not sure but this appears to be what the official scorer did in this situation.

Did anyone see that Niles guy for Wisconsin last night? He needed one more point for a triple-double and he got fouled with about 50 seconds to go in the game. He missed the front end of the one-and-one and ended the game with only 9 points.

They showed it on Sportscenter that the play in question was a pass from Fox to Gabiel, and then to Monk who takes a couple dribbles and then hits a top of the key jumper......
