“I definitely take pride in it,” Gabriel said in an exclusive interview with CoachCal.com. “That’s how I earn my way onto the court. I kind of feel like that’s part of my identity when I’m on the court, when I play.”

Game-winning shot or game-winning block? Gabriel is taking the block, preferably around the rim ala LeBron James in game seven of the 2016 NBA Finals.

I like that kind of attitude. It sounds like this young man will be a real team player and hopefully a big time shot blocker and defensive stopper.
