According to reports, Ranger College possibly used an ineligible player last season and may have to forfeit all 31 wins.

Ranger College is coached by former University of Kentucky head coach Billy Gillispie.

The NJCAA official, and Ranger College president Bill Campion, told The News that Ranger has appealed the decision. If the ruling stands, Ranger likely will have to forfeit every game in which the ineligible player participated.

Two sources said Monday that the player in question is 6-6 Joshua Simmons of Irmo, S.C. Ranger College's website lists Simmons as having played in every game, averaging 11.4 points and nine rebounds as the Rangers went 31-7 and finished fourth in the NJCAA national tournament _ the highest national finish in Ranger's 90-year history.

I hate to sound mean, but I don't give a rat's rear end about what happens to Billy Clyde, nor anyone stupid enough to hire him after what they have to know about him now. He is a low life, plain and simple.

Any school that would hire this drunken idiot deserves whatever sanctions are bestowed on them. He is not fit to deal with the general public in any manner, especially working with the minds and physical abilities of young men.
