Kentucky moved to 5-0 on the season. Boston is now 2-3.

Kentucky leads the series 5-0.

Kentucky returns to action Friday, Nov. 27, against South Florida in the Hoophall Miami Invitational. Game time is 5 p.m. ET and it will be televised on ESPN.

Game Notes

Kentucky started with the lineup of Skal Labissiere, Marcus Lee, Isaiah Briscoe, Jamal Murray and Tyler Ulis for the third game in a row.

UK held Boston scoreless for the first three minutes of the game while building a 10-0 lead.

Boston rallied to within 10-9 and the dogged Terriers kept it close, eventually taking their first and only lead at 32-31 with 3:28 to go in the opening period.

Team Notes

With 2,183 all-time wins, Kentucky is the nation’s leader in that category.

Calipari is 106-4 (.964) in Rupp Arena.

UK extended a streak of 36 consecutive regular-season wins and 24 straight wins in Rupp Arena.

Jamal Murray made a 3-pointer at the 14:30 mark of the opening half, extending UK’s streak of games with a made 3-pointer to 944, the second-longest streak in the nation.

Kentucky had a +42 margin on points in the paint, 58-16.

UK shot 51.6 percent from the field, the third game this season the Cats made at least half their shots.

It was a night of balance for the Wildcats with five players scoring in double figures and four Cats gathering at least six rebounds.

Cal's Rupp arena record of 106-4 is a "unbelievable" accomplishment and a feat future UK coachs will probably never match. We as fans have been blessed to see it happen.
