Matthews is now listed at 6'5". So we could have a 6-5,6-4, 6-4 trio of guards on the floor (Matthews, Murray, Mulder), but that wouldn't be my first choice of guards.

We had tall guards for the last two years with the Harrisons, and smaller, quicker guards ate their lunch. I will be happy to see us run that same style against our opponents this year. Put Ulis, Briscoe, and Murray out there and watch the opposition get shredded by the dribble-drive.

The other thing that Murray, Ulis and Briscoe have is the ability to shoot the three. If they back off any of them it will give them open looks.

UCONN has a National title because of this. Speed kills at the guard position.

You add size and shooting ability to our fast guards and it's going to be even tougher to defend us.
