This guy is so special and for us to get to watch him next season is going to be exciting. Make sure you watch the video.

Jamal Murray had an extremely impressive outing by tallying 22 points (all of which came in the 4th quarter and overtime), 6 assists, and 4 rebounds in just under 28 minutes of playing time to help Canada defeat USA.

Will we still have to hear about how the platoon system has killed Calipari's recruiting, after this kid suits up in Blue and White?

From some quarters, absolutely.

I am hoping we keep it simple, forget the past, start out new with this group and play some great basketball. If that happens it's going to be a fun year for players, coachs and Cat fans.

You know if today's kids are trying to blame something on UK's platoon system and decided to not come to UK because of it, they don't have near the smarts I gave them credit for having. If they think only playing close to half a game with some of the best players in college is detrimental to their NBA careers, they lack an understanding of great basketball. If they didn't see all those guys who played half of each college game go in the first round of the draft, they must be blind. One thing they must understand very well is Cal's statement to all of them that "UK basketball is not for everyone." Well, this past springs recruiting of the top kids must have meant there were a whole lot of kids that felt the pressure of playing at UK was not for them. We'll have to wait and see but it looks like UK will be about as good as any other school they could have chosen.
